Now it's my turn to show what I've created for this month's Mood Board challenge, so let's get to it.
I wanted to make a few things using these beautiful colors, since they are so near and dear to my heart {read below as to why that is!}. So I made a card, and a few items for a gift basket.
I thought about doing a wedding themed project, which seemed to be so fitting for these soft colors, but eventually I decided I wanted to try to use them in a new way.
First up, a card to go inside the gift basket.
Since the Mood Board hints towards all things love-themed, I wanted to add a few little bits of love-inspired touches, hence the pretty sparkly heart on the front.
I used several layers of pretty Maja paper and piles and piles of lacey details, like the punched paper and doilies, as well as the lace and dot borders.
I used the "Many Thanks" stamp set from The Craft's Meow, and a few more of my handmade touches, like the shabby ribbon and handmade button.
Next up, I decorated a little jar, with more of the same elements and the beautiful Maja paper.
{this little jar was later filled with a delicious spread, to go into the gift basket}

For the final item, I wrapped a little box {with more yummy treats inside} with the gorgeous Maja paper and embellished it with a doily, glittered heart and a pretty, shabby bow!
What an easy thing it is to create when someone picks beautiful colors and inspirations for you!
{Sigh...If only I had a mood board for every time I created something...}
And now it's your turn!
Here is this month's Mood Board...Hope it inspires you to make something beautiful today!
{Recognize the pictures in this Mood Board? When Jenny asked if I could send some of my wedding photos to her for Mood Board inspiration, I was SO excited! These are some of my favorite colors, so using them as inspiration was just plain fun!}
Thanks for visiting today :)
