Chickadee Doo...

~Happy Easter to You~

It's finally starting to feel like Spring around here, and it looks like it's here to stay.

Which means that all Spring-y things are around the corner...Like one of my most favoritest holidays to craft for...Easter :)

I've whipped up these cards for the Etsy Shoppe, just in time for egg hunts and Easter wishes.

I'm also working on heaps of spring colored buttons, ribbons and other little goodies to stock the shoppe with. Keep your eyes open...They will be arriving very soon!

First up, a little creation with lots of soft stickers and papers from the Sisters Collection by Echo Park,  a tiny bit of lace, and a bit of stamping. This card features stamps from PTI's Tag It's #1 Mini stamp set,  and the Lovely Layers die from PTI.

I thought the little chickie sticker was too cute to pass up...She melts my heart.

The next little pocket is made out of a simple glassine bag that I've decorated with a bit of paper, some stamping and a few die-cuts.

To make the adorable little tree, I used PTI's Polka Dot Parade #6 Stamps and Dies

I stamped the leaves and flowers in shades of Spring Moss, Berry Sorbet, Spring Rain and Sweet Blush

Just under the tree, I added a tiny little doily, along with chevron striped patterns.
For the sentiment, I used PTI's Sweet Spring stamp set.

Tucked inside the baggie, are three Easter eggs, which make up the little tag :)

Hope these projects bring you a happy Spring smile!

  1. Ivana, your mix of papers/colors and layering is truly unique
    and so very beautiful!
That teeny chick stole my heart! Irresistible!
Love the bag too; so creative and beautifully
    detailed~ (I have a few mini bags I've been
experimenting with;) you are an inspiration!~

  2. Wow, these are truly gorgeous! You have worked magic with these pastel colours. Fabulous cards!

  3. Sigh...these are soft, delicate, Eastery, Springy sweetness all rolled into one!

  4. All so pretty and spring like. I just wish our weather was co-operating here in Ontario, more snow today.

  5. Ivana these are so pretty! They herald spring and Easter which is a season I love! We always make Italian ricotta cheese and egg pies with parsley and seasonings called "Shatones". What things do you make? Are you enjoying your new home tons? I am loving all my spring crocus, daffodils and tulips that are coming up! So pretty to welcome spring!!

  6. how totally adorable :) great idea for these treat bags I have loads and need to get creative with them ♥
