Pinkfresh Studio August Release Blog Hop

Hellooo Friends and welcome to another Pinkfresh Studio release blog hop!

We have a heap of beautiful products to show off today - I just don't know where to start! Every time I think a release is at the top of my list, another one comes along and amazes me even more.
I'm focusing on two pretty sets for today, but if you want to see the entire lineup, it's fully linked at the bottom and it's sooooo gorgeous!!

For my cards today, I'm playing with how color can be added in different ways. Whether using a white base, or a colorful one, it's easy to play up the whimsy by adding in colorful elements - such as the Lovely Blossoms and No One Compares to You sentiments.
Both of these sets are equally beautiful as they are versatile, so if color is not really your thing, they would look just as darling toned down.

My first card is packed FULL of color! Starting off with a Distress Ink Oxide blended background, speckled with water, white paint, and various watercolors.

At the very center of my card, I heat-embossed the No One Compares To You sentiment in white.

I surrounded it with heaps of flowers and leafy bits, in my favorite ink colors.

For my next card, I wanted to create another colorful piece, but challenge myself in using only white cardstock. With the help of a few speckled watercolor dots, it still exudes a lot of cheery personality.

I used a few more of the gorgeous florals and leaves from the Lovely Blossoms set, stamping them up in some deeper shades. I also added a few watercolor lines to the large flowers, for a bit more dimension.

To make things even more colorful, I decided to mask the sentiment, using a different hue for each word.

I really love how each card's style is so different, yet just as bright and bold.
