Hello! So happy you could pop in today.
I've got a colorful number to share - filled with soft, floral touches.
I know this would make for a nice Springtime card, but it's okay that it's not Spring right? It's fun to take a break from the Holiday crafting for a tad - plus I felt like these cheery vibes were just perfect for a get-well-card.
My card today features the ever-so-lovely Floral Vase stamp set. I've used it a fair bit already, but I just felt like I wasn't quite finished with it...you know?
I don't like to set stamps away until I feel like I've had a good play with them, and I can happily say that Mrs. Floral Vase can now snugly reside with all her other stamp buddies, until Spring is upon us.
I started this card off with a blended ink base, followed by a quick stamp of the stems. I knew I would use a vellum vase, so I wanted the stems to be a darker green so that they would show through the vellum.
I used my coloring pencils to add some color to the florals, though I admit, I was not very careful with all the details. But I can happily say, I do love it, even though it's not perfect. It still makes my heart smile.
I added a colorful bow to the vase, also accented with coloring pencils, and a sentiment that's part of this set.
I really love this gorgeous stamp. I can hardly wait for Spring to pull it out again :)
