Hiya Friends!
As Easter approaches, many of us are adjusting to the idea that gatherings may have to be delayed...I love gatherings as they offer an excuse to make pretty paper decor - from floral centerpieces, to place cards and small favors. But for many, all of that has been put on hold. Which got me thinking, how else can we incorporate decor-geared goodies from our stashes?
It was actually a lot more fun and easier than I thought! The larger scale of these pretty Peony florals (and most other dies scaled for decor) take up a good chunk of the card base. This means fussing around with other elements is essentially unneeded. Yay for speedy creations! And I really mean speedy - this card took 5 minutes tops :)
I love that both of the sets - the Small Peony and Jumbo Peony work perfectly together in creating dimension and texture. To add even more life to the florals, I used the Citrus Vine set to add the leaf veins, and spotty accents to the petals.
To finish my card, I added some enamel dots in white, and a sentiment from the Simply Said set.
And just because I couldn't resist - sharing a little project that was supposed to get crafted up from all the petals, before I decided to pivot into cards. Even though it may not get to adorn the Easter table, it would still be perfect for other gatherings or gifting, when life resumes back to normal.
I used all the same dies, just a few more layers to make my bursting floral topper + a few leaves for the sides of the box. The box was made with the WRMK box punch board.
I hope you're all doing well, Friends. Thank you so much for your visits!

Your stash must be astounding, Ivana... these floral elements are phenomenal! Too gorgeous, my friend! It's been a while since you've shared your fabulous photos of all the tablescapes you and your husband have done! We'd all love to gather around your table: for Easter, or any other occasion! xx
