A dear friend recently asked me to whip up a card for her daughter, who loves teal, pink and orange. A mighty fine color combo, if I may add :) I was happy to dig in, and make something to bring her a smile.
To start my card, I used the Foliage Frame die as my centerpiece. If you look closely, you'll see that I snipped the sides so I could shorten the frame to fit only in the upper half of my card.
I added in some Flower Shop florals, sparkly rhinestones and baubles, and a scripty sentiment.
To finish the sentiment, I used the Modern Alpha stamps + dies.
I added a polka-dotted kraft strip at the bottom, along with a teeny heart.
Making cards for others is my favorite part of this art! Especially when playing with colors as luscious as this :)

There are those sweet blooms again, thank you! Lovely combination of colors, Ivana - as always! Thanks for that teensy kraft reminder that I want that polka do stamp!

ReplyDeleteHow splendidly pretty! Love the mix of graphic and scripty fonts for the sentiment. What a fresh, fun and totally charming b-day greeting!
