Preview Day 4

~TCM Preview Day 4: Soaring High/Rejoice~

Welcome to the last day of TCM previews!

I really fell in love with these colors...They are so fun and vibrant, yet still soft enough for Spring...They remind me of vast green fields, full of spring flowers, and big, blue skies...So, here I am, back to using the same colors I've used for preview day 1 and 2 :)

I have two cards and envelope to share with you today. Both using these beautiful colors and the two featured TCM stamps of today: Soaring High and Rejoice (a FREE set with any $50 purchase).

For the first card, I traced one of my templates onto white cardstock, and cut it out.
I then added another piece of white cardstock, stamped with an airmail motif around the edges, in green.

For the center of the card, I used a doily die-cut, along with a circle frame, and some fussy-cut flowers.

I stamped and cut out a sentiment from the Soaring High stamp set, and layered it onto the pretty floral bouquet.

At the top of the card, I added a little polka dot heart, and balanced the doily embellishment by adding a button and a pennant at the bottom.

I also created a matching envelope, with a doily and heart die-cut at the top, and a teensy bit of an accent with the plaid pattern and floral piece.

I added a dotted border with liquid pearls to finish the envelope, as well as a couple of little buttons.

For this next card, I wanted to use the Spring-y and cheery colors, to make an inspirational and uplifting card.

I used the same paper collection from Girl's Paperie, along with stamped hearts from this PTI set, and lots of die-cut and punched paper details, like the buttons, borders, and doily paper lace.

For the bottom of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Rejoice set, onto a chipboard post-mark die-cut, and embellished it with buttons, punched paper, and fussy-cut flowers. I adore the font of the faith stamp in this set...Which I stamped on the background of the chipboard post-mark.

I really love when a card sends not only an uplifting message, but also brightens someones day with it's cheery and fun colors.

Two more pictures to share today of our family's newest little peanut :)
