Snippets of Sweetness

~Thank You~

I guess I've been gone a while once again. I fell into a bit of a slump after my last post, but I assure, it was for nothing but good reasons :)

Between making our home-sweet-home just so, and sharing it with friends and loved ones, my crafty time has been pre-occupied with oh-so-many other little life tidbits. But I did manage to sneak in a couple of crafting afternoons with friends recently, and I have a few of those creations to share today.

But first, I want to send a big and heartfelt thank you to all the warm welcomes, kinds words and sweet comments from all of you, my dear friends and readers. Thank you Ros, Vicky, Marilyn, Lisa, Becky, Marlou, Nicola, Karen, Anneke, Jill, Jules, Dan, ManoArte, Karen N, Vibekke, Aneta, Magda, Betty Sue, Sue, Selina, Ruki, and everyone whom I did not manage to name, for your visits, comments and support.

Today's cards were inspired by you all because they are just the kind of cards I love to share with my dear friends who uplift me and give so much meaning to my life.

This little number was created using PTI's Friendship Jar stamps and dies, WPlus 9 Fresh Cut Florals stamps, Papertrey Ink's Pure Poppy, Spring Rain, Blueberry Sky, and Smokey Shadow inks, and a few of my favorite little treasures like the beautiful Maja Design tiny hearts paper and delicate lace.

For a little added sparkle, I added stick-on glittered letters and a teensy little heart. A itty bitty tag and a miniature strawberry add just the perfect homemade touch to finish off this little jar. For the strawberry, I used PTI's Strawberry Patch Sentiments stamp set, and the little tag is from the Die-Namics Christmas Ornaments die set.

Just under the sentiment (jar label) I stamped a pretty plaid print from PTI's Sweet Spring stamp set

I just love PTI's Stitched Sentiments stamp set. I find that I often reach for it when I searching for a heartfelt message...And the lovely images in the set, like the embroidery hoop, add such a homey touch to my cards, that I simply cannot resist!

Other supplies on this card are PTI's Limitless Layers: Circle dies, buttons, flowers and other little trinkets from my stash, and pretty heart print washi tape.

I used the same glittered hearts here too, which were in a pack of really old Valentine's stickers from many years ago. I don't recall the brand, but wouldn't these be just as easy to make? Just by running some adhesive sheets with pretty dies through a die-cutting machine, and adding a good heaping of whatever loose glitter might be on hand...I think I may try making a batch of my very own shapes to have on hand. They really do add just the right amount of dazzle to  card and making them in advance would help me put them to good use.

Last card of today's set is my most favorite of the bunch. I just love PTI's Strawberry Patch Sentiments stamp...It's definitely one of the other top stamps I reach for when I want a special sentiment for my cards. And the miniature berries just can't be beat! Aren't they the cutest?

Other supplies I used on this card are PTI's Think Big Favorites #18 Mini stamp set, Limitless Layers Ovals die, and more little glittered hearts.

I added a big, bouncy bow to the side, along with a Melissa Frances resin frame - broken in half - on opposite corners.

I wish so very much that I could send a card to every person who has ever visited this little blog of mine. I am deeply touched by all of your support and with a big, grateful heart, I send a *VERY BIG* thank you to you all!

Enjoy the rest of your day,

xo
