Happy Easter

Hello friends!
It's so wonderful to see a few of your emails in my inbox + warm welcome back wishes!
Thank you! Truly, it's so wonderful to be saying hi once again.

I wanted to share this little Easter tag duo with you, before I jet off to start prepping Easter supper.
This year, we're hosting and it's so great to be spending the day with family - cooking, watching old movies, dancing and enjoying time together.

How are you spending your Easter this year? I hope it's wonderful, wherever you may be!

I was inspired to create a tag that was little outside of the typical Spring pastel range...I turned the shades down a notch into deeper, more vibrant picks...And I think I love this color combo!

For the tag I used aqua cardstock, tucked inside a glassine bag from PTI.

Stamped on the glassine bag are a couple starburst images, embossed in white. On top of that, a little hot pink doily from Doodlebug Designs. I used PTI's Limitless Layers: Circle  dies to cut the scalloped circle along with The Best Is Yet to Be die to cut the little leaves and flowers.
The flowers are die cut from Melon Berry felt from Papertrey Ink, and the sentiment is stamped using the Sweet Spring stamp set, also from Papertrey.

For the tag, I used Wplus9's Spring Tags stamp set, embossed in Ranger Embossing Powder in Magenta. I adorned the tag with some buttons, micro beads, and a couple of resin flowers. I added some heart spotted vellum to the center - perfect for a sentiment.

Sending you all happy wishes today!

  1. Hi Sweet and gorgeous Ivana! I have missed you so much over these past years! I even wrote you an e-mail for which I received no answer and then I started to worry! I e-mailed Maja asking about you and after a month I received an e-mail, stating that although they new you they did not knew your whereabouts. Then I e-mail duchess whom I follow after reading of a gift from you and no answer!
Imagine my surprise and confussion when yesterday I received a newsletter from your blog dated 2014, I proceeded to click on it and there were no new entries! And now I receive this one that has made me so happy, knowing that you are all right and still crafting!
I ADORE your work, have invested money in buying the stamps and dies that you have used on projects that have rendered me breathless, but who am I kidding I do great work but not as excellent as you do! I wish I could be a little bug in your wall to see that mind in action! Do whatever your heart desires, videos, tags, cards,ANYTHING, as long as your creative hands make them they will be treasured!
Welcome back! My life will be SWEETER from now on!

    Cariños,
    María Alba

  3. Love these colors...bright and bold. Not everything at every time needs to be pastel. It's good to change things up! Thank you for sharing.
