Hi Friend - Mixing and Matching Color Crush Products | The Stamp Market

Hi, dear Friends!
We're still enjoying the beautiful + sunny Southwest, so I'm popping in with a couple of colorful creations to spread a little sunshine-y cheer.

I've had a blast in my studio these past few weeks...It's exploding with the Color Crush collection! As I've been using the hues, here are two things I love about them - each and every color is SO pretty, and I love that the color choices are not overwhelming. It forces me to really work on trying new combinations, as opposed to using as many colors as possible (which I've been known to do, and still very much love lol).

But this approach works so well, and I especially love that every product in line coordinates - making it easy to switch between the various supplies - like ink and cardstock. For this little card, I used both! The stamped flower is made with a heat-embossed design on cardstock, as well as a stamped one. And the heart base is comprised of layers of cardstock colors, topped off with a large, stamped greeting.

For the next project, I made a simple note card, but decided to go all out on the envelope, once again mixing cardstock and ink hues.

I love mixing and matching simple and layered, bold and soft, bright and subtle, and switching between products. I find that it gives designs such a dynamic look and it makes my Gemini heart happy - always needing to satisfy the two sides! ;)

What have you been working on lately? Are your projects already showing signs of Spring?
