Watercolored Florals on Dark Backgrounds | The Stamp Market

Hello Friends!
I'm trying something new today - super dark backgrounds (for me, at least! lol) - with a splash of watercolored florals.

I actually think these cards look much nicer IRL, and it might take a few tries to get the photos right, but I wanted to share them here regardless!

To make my cards, I started with a cardstock background, splattered up with some dots.
For the florals, I used the Fabulous Floral colored with Color Crush re-inkers - Blush, Peach, Rusty, Mossy, Leafy, and Citrine.

I LOVE how beautifully these colors blend together.

I used a more orange palette for the next floral - adding a lot more Citrine and Rusty into the mix.
I added the stamped + die-cut sentiment from the set to finish things off.

I am SO nervous sharing these as they are outside my comfort zone.
But it does feel good to stretch outside the norm a bit :)

Thank you for all of your support and love, sweet Friends!

  1. Welcome to [your own] dark side, Ivana! I love how the blooms [and splatters] pop off of the lovely dark card bases, my friend! Way to stretch yourself - beautifully!

  4. My word, these are lovely! I'm especially smitten with, of all things, the amount of white that is surrounding the stamped sentiment words. It's the absolute perfect amount in my opinion.
