Spring Blossoms - Two Takes | The Stamp Market

Is it Spring yet where you live?
The snow has finally melted here, and most days reach double digit temps! The air smells fresh and if you listen really closely, you can hear the migratory birds slowly arriving...I absolutely LOVE this time of year!

My cards today are a little sprinkling of Spring in the form of some darling blossoms from The Stamp Market. This is one of the first sets I ever purchased from TSM and it's still a favorite all this time later. The best part is that it's super affordable and quite versatile as a background builder, or stand-alone floral.

For my first card, I've combined it with the Floral Diamond stamp set, by stamping a pink diamond to build my florals around. I used the die to mask the diamond, and then stamped my florals around randomly, paying attention to color triangles.

For the sentiment, I used the Something Extra dies to cut white letters, and then accented them with the inline stamps. Around the edges, I added a handmade sentiment, and added a heat-embossed vellum bit using the Birthday Baloons set.

For my next card, I used the blossoms once again, but this time double stamped with the shading layers, and accented with pencil strokes. I love how this gives the florals a whole new life!
For the sentiment, I combined two sets - Floral Diamond and Dear Friend.

In the corner, I added a tiny strip, stamped with Simply Stripes
I ventured a bit outside the Color Crush collection, and stamped everything with Distress Oxides, which I've linked up below!

  4. Awesomely beautiful designs. Your use of striking cobalt/royal blue instantly makes me think of classic delftware china, and makes me want to use more of that eye-catching colour in some of my own makes.
