Pretty Poinsettia - The Stamp Market

Can I make a confession? Poinsettias have never been a favorite flower. Not even on the top 10 list. If asked, I will opt for succulents, tropicals and pastel blooms any day of the week! Peonies, Ranunculus, Bougainvillea all steal my heart...But Poinsettias? Nope!

Unless they are a stamp, of course :)
And really, how could I not love these...So pretty and such a clever idea to make additional petal layers for an easy dimensional look. They look even prettier with soft, rosy colors, and a touch of gold.

Here, I've stamped and cut a heap of them, along with the holly and pine accents included in the set, to create my floral frame. I then added them to my card base with some dimensional tape.

Before adhering the frame, I stamped the base with a Tis the Season sentiment, and heat-embossed it in gold.

If you look closely, you'll see my beloved shimmery paint spatters, and a little bit of sparkly confetti.

And here, you can see the petal dimension that's super easy to add with an extra layer of stamps and dies.

Though I'm not adding any Poinsettia to my tablescape anytime soon, I positively LOVE them here.
How do you feel about this festive flower?
