~Gifted with Love~
I love, love, love making these little gift baggies! They are so fun to make, and can be adorned with just about any combination of embellishments. Not to mention the irresistible pastel candy colors! I swear, one of these days, I will make a little felt baggie in every color of the rainbow!
{Every pastel color of the rainbow, that is!}
But for today, I have these two scrumptious colors to share, which coordinate with all my recent cards.
I used hand-dyed felt for both of these baggies, and added stamped papers and other little accents to dress them up.
For the first baggie, I used a very pale green shade of felt, and pinked the edges before adhering them all together.
To decorate the front, I layered some lilac lace, along with a die-cut heart border and some teensy, too-adorable-for-words white buttons :)
I also added a hand-made button with a die-cut accent to the top of the baggie.
For the insert, I used a hand-stamped paper, embellished with another hand-stamped paper banner, and a felt heart die-cut.
The second baggie is a bit smaller, and made out of a lovely soft, Tiffany blue.
The lace at the top of the baggie is once again a soft lilac shade, and I have glued two heart borders to the bottom of this baggie.
For the insert, once again, I used a hand-stamped paper, embellished with a hand-stamped paper banner, and a felt and paper heart die-cut.
These little felt baggies are such a fun alternative to a traditional card, and they eliminate the need for an envelope! The other thing I love about these is that they can be split up, and the baggie can be filled with goodies of all sorts, whereas the insert can be used as a tag for a different gift, or even as a base for a more intricate card.
Whatever the use for these, they really are such a homespun little treasure...I really ought to make more of them!
Both of these are now in my Etsy Shoppe, and with this coupon code found in my ad in the PaperHaus issue, you can get an additional 15% off of these cuties, and so many more other little goodies.
Wishing you all lovely day,
*Ivana*
