Am I allowed to say that this is my most favoritest of all Pinkfresh releases yet?
It's a pretty tall order to top, but you'll see what I mean if you just take a scroll..So much goodness is in store today. I've tried to highlight as many goodies as I could, so let's not waste a second and get right to it!
For my first card today, I used the gorgeous new cover die, Ornate Floral. Major jaw drop when I saw this one IRL.
I cut the design out white cardstock, and accented the florals and leaves with some marker flicks. I find this technique to be so relaxing. Anyone else?
Once I finished the flicks, I added some dimensional dots to the petals and clear dots to the rest of the card.
The beautiful 'Hello' is from the Layered Script Words stamp set, and it might just be my favorite of the bunch! Fair warning, it took me a minute to figure out how the layers work together, but once I got the hang of it, I couldn't stop stamping these beauties. I love that the shading makes it look as though the letters are made from ribbon...Or like you spent hours watercoloring.
No one has to know it only took a second to stamp ;)
My next card is a one layer card (and if you know me, you know that this is only my second one ever!) It says a lot when the stamps are so pretty that no extra dimension or frill is needed. Here, I added a dash of soft pink blending to the center of the card, followed by possibly my favorite sentiment ever - not only because of that fab saying, but can we just look at that font?! Isn't it divine?
I then used the individual florals from Believe in Yourself to stamp up this background. The florals are meant for the cluster that comes in the set, but they work just as beautifully for stand-alone stamping.
I accented everything up with some pencil strokes, and teensy dots.
I have another favorite - and that is this gorgeous Modern Layered Floral. It's such a dream to stamp up, because the stems and leave are only two steps - and so are the florals. For variation in colors like I have here, it's super easy to add a touch of ink to each bloom separately, as they are spaced perfectly apart - no masking needed ;)
Just below the floral, I added in some chevron striping with the super neat Chevron Background stamp - which has removable stripes! Yes, I know! No more single-color backgrounds, friends. It was sooo easy to stamp these multi-colored stripes.
Finishing things off with the beautiful ribbon-y sentiments again.
And a touch of ink blending on the base.
This card features yet another removable background set - the Nested Diamond Background, which I've used only on the corners of the card.
For the focal point, I used the Believe in Yourself set to stamp up the floral cluster.
And a sentiment using the new Phrase Builders dies.
Such a fun way to mix and match greetings.
For my last card, I have another single layer, so that's three! I think I'm getting the hang of this one-layer card thing :)
I started off by stamping the Hugs and Good Vibes sentiment in the center, using an ombre ink combo - which I simply add to the stamp in the order of darkest to lightest, and slightly overlap to blend the colors.
For a touch of shading, I added some marker accents to the letters, and then finished off by adding branches and accents from the Believe in Yourself set. The dots were added with markers.

By adding that marker onto the Ornate Floral die, it really made it stand out. I have other cover dies but that one really looks beautiful!
