If you're joining us for the hop, you should have arrived from the super duper talented Heather. If you're just tuning in, or you've lost your way, you can see the full hop list order here.
Today, I am sharing a card, using the gorgeous new Folk Hummingbird stamps and dies.
I just looove the folk-art take on this design :) I also love that this set is oh-so-versatile, because the florals can be used for backgrounds, wreaths, or even cut individually to make a spring bouquet.
For my card, I decided to keep it simple with a watercolored wreath.
I started out by heat-embossing three individual floral sprigs, as well as the pretty hummingbird.
It was so fun to add these colorful hues and watch everything come to life.
I assembled my wreath, and backed everything up with a darker kraft cardstock. I popped up the hummingbird and one of the florals. Around the card, I also added a few little rhinestones, which are also from Pinkfresh Studio, and will be available in the upcoming release :)
At the bottom of the card, I stamped this beautiful sentiment, also included in the stamp set. Isn't it so pretty? I think this might be my favorite stamp from the release....I'll be sharing another card later this week with it, in a completely different way. Hope you'll come check it out! For now, let's get to the hop details!
