Friendship Cards - Guesting at The Stamp Market

Well today is about as sweet and special as it gets :)
I am guesting over at The Stamp Market and I could not be more thrilled or humbled...This is, indeed, a dream-come-true.

Friends, I hope that you will check out this beautiful shoppe. My cards today are just the tiniest snippet of all the pretty things you can find there.
If you visit, you will find that all of the designs are brimming with love and thoughtfulness.
The best way I can describe Amy's style is: classic, modern, and utterly versatile...all wrapped up into one. And ooozing with endless style.

But more than just gorgeous products, if you check out the TSM insta feed, you'll find some incredible cards, that take us into the designer's mind to see how Amy combines her creations (which I always find sooo interesting). Her cards are brimming with colorful inspiration, but in the most approachable and loveable way. And they will make you want to buy everything! I'm not kidding!
But they will also make you want to use everything you buy...Trying her tips and tricks, but also giving yourself the freedom to explore and find your own.

And when it comes down to it, isn't that what it's all about?

I know I'm totally fangirling, but when I think of what exciting things I want to share with my friends (that's you!), this is at the very tippity top of the list :)

For today's card, I was so lucky to play with a few favorite sets....Then again, they are all favorites ;)
I wanted to use them in various ways, like Amy would, to show a few possibilities using the same supplies. Of course you can see more of these pretty products on TSM's instagram page, but here are a few takes I've whipped up!

My first card features the Bloominous Stamp and Die sets, as well as the All Lined Up set. All of these pretties are perfect for various coloring techniques. Today I did a couple of different ones, starting with coloring pencils + heat-embossing on this card. For all the letters and florals, I used my Prismacolor Premier pencils. I stamped my images in a soft grey ink, colored everything up, and then stamped once more, to heat-emboss a bold black outline.

For the background, I used the Confetti stamp set, which I adore. I inked it up with various colors of ink, and stamped my cardstock.
While this card is simple to pull together, it looks so chic with Amy's designs!

For my next card, I used the Bloominous set again, stamped in a soft grey ink. I then used my Prismacolor pencils and some ink, to outline each bloom and leaf, adding in some color with Copics. I love this soft, wispy look a whole bunch.
I also added some vellum florals, using the Dear Friend stamp and Small Blooms die sets. These little blooms are so cute! They're kind of whimsical, and are the perfect size for little accent flowers.

I added some striped paper at the top and bottom of the card, to keep with the whimsy look, as well as lots of little sparkly rhinestones and sequins.

For the sentiment, I wanted to try out some Wonder Stix + vellum, so I heat-embossed the sentiment and colored up the back-side. I also added in a few of my Neocolor hues. Wonder Stix do not have a warm yellow green hue, or a bright fuschia, so I've subbed those in here. But I do find that the whole Neocolor set is quite a nice compliment to the WS colors. And I love that these outline fonts work so well with this coloring technique.

For my final project, I did up a little shaker tag.  A super fun way to add a little color to a gift bag!

I used the Scalloped Frame die, filled it up with little beads, and adorned with buttons and ribbons, as well as a sentiment from the the All Lined Up set.

I'd love to try this shaker out filled with some candy. I think it would make for a very 'sweet'
tag!

I've so loved playing with all these beautiful things, and I'm itching to play some more as soon as time allows.

Thank you for visiting, Friends! And the biggest thank you to The Stamp Market for the guest feature. Must say, I'm feeling overwhelmingly humbled and grateful :)

  2. What lovely projects!! Love the pretty colors on the first card and the way you used the vellum flowers on the second. The tiny gems and sequins randomly around the second card just draw the eye in. I have that scallop frame and would never have thought to use it like you did on that cute shaker. GREAT design!!

    1. Aw thank you, Nora! I wasn't sure about the gems and sequins. I sometimes worry that too many details can take away attention....So I'm super glad you like them! That scalloped frame is SO fun for shakers. I have a couple more already made up! Thanks for your visit, sweetie! xo
