Hi Friends!
Hope your day is fantastic and that you've been enjoying Summer. It's hard to believe we are on the tail end...So I'm sneaking in a little tribute to all things Summer-y before it skips out of town! This little card pack in Summery birthdays, backyard celebrations, and tropical florals all into one!
I thought it would be super fun to try a clean and simple design with today's elements, since they are all so punchy and vibrant! I absolutely love these colors...The main one being the gorgeous Distress Oxide Persimmon hue...It is definitely up there with my favoritest colors ever. I adore how happy and joyful it is...the perfect mix of warm orange and red. I can't wait to give it a spin in my upcoming Autumn crafting!
To deck the top of my card, I used the beautiful (and mighty!) Petite Painted Florals set. This little guy packs a punch! The bitty florals come with layering bits and can be combined into beautiful bouquets, backgrounds, or just a fun floral accent. I also love how easy it is to switch up the look of these florals - in my card I've used tropical colors to mimic hibiscus blooms - but these can be colored up in any range of hues, giving off a totally different floral vibe! Gotta love a set that's so versatile :)
To finish off my card, I used the Skinny Upper Alpha dies and Hip Hip Hooray stamps and dies to add a little font action to the white space. I really love the mix of these tall, skinny letters, along with the scripty sentiments. So fun!
