Hi everyone! I’m on the Pinkfresh Blog today, sharing two very different card designs. One clean and simple, the other layered with loads of trimmings.
Although I’ve become a fan of the clean look, I must admit, I still love layering. I guess some things will never change!

For my first card, I’m sharing the CAS version. Since I love dimension and movement, I thought it would be fun to try some negative die-cutting, along with a bit of stamping. Although this card has a few layers, it still utilizes a lot of white space, and many less layers than I'm accustomed to ;)

To start my card, I used the Braided Circles die for the dotted circles. I used the Classic Tags with Fillable Elements dies to add a floral design inside each circle, and backed them with some teal cardstock.

For my accents, I used the gorgeous new Floral Cluster stamps and dies, heat-embossing the floral image, and colouring it up with Copic markers. 

A teal and lilac sentiment to finish, and of course, a few jewels to sparkle things up a bit!

Next up, I fully immersed this card with layers and heaps of texture. I added in everything from ink blending, to stamping, to washi and die-cut bits.

First up, I blended some ink onto my card base, using Distress Oxide hues. I then stamped the beautiful Eucalyptus Fantasy stamp design along one edge and heat-embossed it. I used my Copic markers to colour in the little leaves, in shades slightly darker than the ink blending. On the other side, I added two strips of the Watercolor Fantasy washi tape. I love this washi so much! It's especially pretty when combined with watercolor or ink-blended designs. The colors are sooo pretty and I love that it looks as if you took hours to make it yourself. 

To trim the card, I added some die-cut accents, using the Beautiful Blooms die set, and I finished things off with a lacy ribbon.  The sentiment is from the Floral Cluster stamp set - which I heat-embossed on some ink-blended cardstock. I also added in a few ink splatters all around the card.
