Pinkfresh Studio Premium Dye Ink Swatches and Overview

Hello Friends and welcome a to very special Pinkfresh Studio Release!
As you've probably seen around social media or on your hop so far, we are thrilled to announce the release of 48 gorgeous shades of Premium Dye Ink! I don't know about you, but it sure feels to me like Christmas has come early this year :)

My colorful floral hues are just a teensy tiny sampling of all the beautiful colors that we're releasing today. Believe me, if I could have included every single color, I would have! But I do have something little to share with you below - so be sure to scroll down!

For my card, I used the colors in the darkest and medium shades - Persimmon, Marigold, Olive, Raspberry Bliss, Regal Kiss, Storm, and Fawn. Just a handful of current favorites.

I absolutely love the way these inks glide onto stamps and the coverage they provide.
And can we just pause for a moment to admire these rich, creamy hues?!

O my goodness!
So without further ado..I am pleased to help introduce the newest addition to the Pinkfresh family!

I've swatched all of the 48 colors, and I'm sharing my first impressions in using the inks.
Please do not hesitate to send any questions you have my way. You can do so here
The standard sized inkpads consist of a felt pad and are super juicy, making it easy to ink up your favorite stamps. While still new, I would recommend just light dabs, as juicy inkpads can quickly over-saturate your stamps if too much pressure is applied.
Every pad's front has a large, colored label, so it's easy to see which color you are reaching for.
The lid has a little ledge that makes opening the pads easy. The pads are stackable, but they do not click together.
Every hue has been thoughtfully curated to round out a beautiful collection of colors..From rich and luxurious tones, to light, bright and airy pastels. I love each color so much, and especially how they all work together.
The pads hold a premium water-based dye ink, resulting in really smooth and full coverage. Initially when stamped, the ink may appear to have a couple of blotches, which are very minor, and quickly even out.
Being a water-based ink, it is suitable for all water-based techniques.
I haven't tried blending yet, but I was absolutely thrilled with the way these watercolor! Dabbing the ink pad onto a mat, using my waterbrush, I found the coverage to be really smooth and vibrant.
It's worth mentioning, I deliberately stamped only once, and I was pleasantly surprised that I did not need to re-stamp. Some of the darker shades could be stamped twice for an ultra-luxe look, if you so desire.

I've stamped each color family up so you can see how they range in tone. All of the families are available for purchase as a mini cube set, which I've linked up in the description as well as below!

This grouping has an array of warm tones, which range from very pale to very rich and deep.
The yellow (Rise and Shine) and orange (Indian Summer) family colors all intensify in hue, from lightest to boldest, whereas the red family (Heartbeat) contains corals, as well as cooler and warmer toned reds.

I love the greens and teals! A family of cooler (Garden Stroll) and warmer (Over the Hills) greens round out the rainbow nicely, and the teals (Island Oasis) are ever-so-lovely with both green and blue undertones for a nice variety.

The two groups of blues provide both icy, purple-undertone hues (Starry Night), as well as sky blues in all shades (Morning Sky).

The pinks and purples! What can I say..They are just lovely! I don't have any pinks (Fairy Dust) as vibrant as these in my current ink selection, especially the fuchsia tones. The purples (Soul of Provence) are also super beautiful - the four colors are split into two shade groupings, one that is more reminiscent of eggplant with red undertones, and the other that is a lot more lilac, with blue undertones. There is a lighter and darker shade of each.

Here is a closer look at all the colors! Which are available as full-size, individual inkpads!

There are four shades in each color family.

Ranging from lightest to darkest for perfect multi-step stamping.

My blues are a little jumbled here, friends! It appears the bundles were mixed up in the process of shipping - so simply flip the top two (Stargazer and Storm) and we're all set! ;)

If you prefer to see them by their intensity:

My favorite family of colors is the darkest shade in each. I love their intensity and they are much deeper than any ink color I currently have.

The medium colors are not too light, and not too dark. They look absolutely beautiful paired together with the darker or lighter tones, and help make multi-step stamping a breeze!

The lights are so lovely! This is my second most favorite intensity of colors, as they are all really vibrant and joyful!

These pastels really are gorgeous...I've had a tough time photographing them as my light was constantly changing with cloudy periods, but if you look in the above photos, they are much better representations of these shades and how nicely they really do photograph. Simply put, these colors are delightful! So amazing for springtime, baby and all-things-pastel.
