Sending A Little Something - Pinkfresh Studio + PTI | Celebrating World Cardmaking Day

Hello Friends!
I'm popping in quickly to share some Autumn cards...Perfect for sending a tad of handmade cheer someone's way.
Today also happens to be World Cardmaking Day!!
So happy to celebrate with you here, but if you're in the mood for some more festivities...

Pinkfresh Studio is hosting TWO challenges over on their blog! One starts at 7 am and the other at noon. I think you are going to love what the team has in store, and I hope it helps get you into the cardmaking spirit!

The other is not so much a challenge but a fabulous SALE over at Scrapbook.com! It's a great chance to stock up on favorites or check out some of the new cardmaking supplies that have caught your eye.
All of my favorite Pinkfresh Studio and Stamp Market cardmaking goodies are part of the sale, yay!
The gorgeous background I've used on these cards can also be scooped up for a deal...Just sayin ;)

For my cards today, I started both with the Garden Floral background, but I chose to leave the print mostly uncolored. I've been meaning to try these florals as a subtle background, and I think they work perfectly. I might even give them a heat-embossed take next time for a little added sheen. Really, really loving this stamp a lot right now.

Atop that, I assembled my little bicycles, adding little toppings. So sweet and Autumn-y!

I think these could make great cards for just about any occassion, with a quick swap of colors or basket toppings. What do you think?

Happy World Cardmaking Day, Friends!
