Warm Greetings - Right At Home + Pinkfresh Studio | Two Takes

Good morning, Friends!
It’s fall days like these that have me craving warm cozy things.
Which just so happens to be what my cards are all about today!

Today's cards are also a part of my Two Takes series - where I take the same ingredient(s) and turn them into two different creations. You can see all the Two Takes posts here.

Both of these cards use an older favorite - the Cuppa Friendship stamp set from RAH.
I got this cutie at Christmas last year, so I didn’t get to use it as much as I would have liked.
I was so happy to pull it out again and color these little chicas up!

For my first card, I first started with a leafy bacgkround, stamped with a very soft ink using the Lovely Blossoms stamp set. I then used my gouache mediums to paint in the leaves.
I love, love, love how they turned out! I then used the stamp set to stamp the leaf veins, in darker hues.

I adhered this base to a kraft envelope, adding some rhinestones, a scalloped border, and my little gal. I also added a button and string bow, and a die-cut and heat-embossed sentiment (on heat-resistant acetate).

For my next card, I blended the background using Distress Oxides, and stamped a Rustic Wreath both onto the base, as well as onto the matching die-cut, which I layered on top.

I added white vellum leaves, stamped and cut with Lovely Blossoms. I thought the vellum and embossing made them look especially icy - perfect for the season!

I also added some 'snow' with Nuvo drops. I know in many parts of the world, snow is not a part of Autumn, but here it certainly can be :) We’ve already had a snowfall this Season!
I also added a tucked in card adorned with florals and butons.

Adding the little cutie just gave this card enough pop - I'm kind of loving her vibrant hair! I know it's not perfectly colored, but it reminds me of my bff’s hair, growing up. It would get especially unruly in the Autumn winds, and her fiery auburn locks would come alive this time of year, only matched by the stunning scenery.

Which gal do you like best?!
