Hello Friends and welcome to the Pinkfresh Studio release hop, featuring the new line-up of rubber cling background stamps! I've used three of the designs today, but I'll be back to share more in the days to come. I've also included all the hop info below - new product, promos and giveaways - so feel free to scroll down for all the deets in case you want to jump right in.
For my first card, I used the stunning new Enchanted Blooms stamp set. I used a no-line ink and a bit of pencil coloring. Once all my coloring was done, I used a pen to outline the blooms. I really hope you won't look too closely at my wild pencil strokes ;) I created these cards on the quick. Like really quick. Shipping doesn't always cooperate with craft time allotment, so what's a girl to do, but color like crazy! lol
To finish off my card, I die-cut the Frame Builder: Botanical Rectangle leafy design in each corner, and also used the Phrase Builder: Sending dies to cut out a rainbow cardstock strip sentiment.
For my next card, I used the Floral Diamond background, heat-embossed over an ink-blended base. Atop that, I layered the Frame Builder: Botanical Rectangle die-cut, choosing the floral this time.
I used the Sentiment Suite: You paired with Layered Bouquet for the sentiment.
To accent the floral background, I used the Ornate Oval frame die, backed with some vellum, and decorated up with stems and blooms from Wildflower Sketches.
Aren't these backgrounds so pretty? Best of all, they stamp like a dream. All of my cards were stamped with a single impression.
Now for the fun part!
For my last card, I used the Floral Shadow design, which is such an easy way to cheat emboss-resist ink blending! Here, I inked up the stamp with a variety of ink colors, and blended the overlapping bits (right on the stamp) with a tiny dauber. When it's all stamped up, no one would know you didn't spend hours getting the perfect ink blend!
