~Scrap That! Reveal~

It's the 26th...And you all know what that means! Time for the February Scrap That! Kit reveal!

This kit features gorgeous Glitz Love Notes and Fancy Pants Lilac House papers, pretty Prima flowers to the max, a gorgeous Prima flourish, some unique embellies (like the gorgeous heart doily) and so, so much more! For full kit details, please visit the Scrap That! site!

Here's what I created using the kit this month!

~This is Me~

I loved working with the soft colours of the Fancy Pants Lilac House papers. Everything on this page is from the kit, minus the lettering and Prima Sugarplum rose, which are from my own stash :)

A detail shot of the amazing bling from Prima...

Another close-up of the pretty Prima flowers...The white Prima flowers in the kit are absolutely gorgeous! I chose to leave mine the way they are, but you could do so much with these little beauties! I contemplated misting mine...but found the soft white to be just what I needed on this layout :)

Here's a shot of a cool technique using the project product in the kit (watermark ink). I will be sharing details on this technique in a couple of days! So check back soon!

And yet another close-up of the same technique :)

~You're Sweet~

Here's a little card I made using a Maya Road envelope and the same Fancy Pants Lilac House papers. I will be sharing a tutorial on how to use watermark ink to achieve the decorative look that is on the envelope!
Check back in a few days for the quick and easy, step-by-step guide on how you can achieve this look!

And last but not least....

~ Chillin...Jamaica Style~

A fun layout using the Glitz paper and the gorgeously tropical Prima flowers in the kit! The kit contains a package of Glitz decorative cards in fun shapes...Instead of using the cards themselves, I traced lots of the shapes onto the patterned paper which I then cut out and layered.

I painted the chocolate brown American Crafts alphas with white crackle paint and then dotted on some liquid pearls on some of the letters for more dimension :)

A close-up of the pretty colours and laser cut wood swirl which I painted white also :)

Please make sure to stop by the Scrap That! site to get all the details on this fabulous kit and check out the Scrap That! blog to see all the Design Team creations!
