~What a Splendid Day!~

What a day :) So many wonderful things happening.

Yesterday was the release of the much-anticipated one year anniversary issue of PaperHaus magazine, and I am still all smiles :)

 I cannot believe it has been a year already. What a blessing it has been every single day to work with such an incredible team of artists, and to be a part of such a wonderful family of sweet, kind souls, who all inspire me personally.

For the special anniversary issue, we've rounded up some incredible talent, and heaps of beautiful art. If you have not had a chance to view it yet, you can check it out simply by clicking here

As if that isn't wonderful enough, I also have some exciting personal news to share.
I was approached by Lisa, from Scrapbooking Society who asked if I would be SS' September Featured Artist! I am thrilled to announce that my artwork and my Etsy Shoppe products are featured in the current issue, and if you'd like to check out the article, where I share some of my work, tips about my creative process and a few other *interesting* bits, please click here.

 If you've not heard of Scrapbooking Society or haven't joined, I urge you to check it out. It's completely free and is full of incredible scrapbook-y resources!

Aside from the happy news, I also  have a few projects to share with you today. As you might have noticed, things have been pretty quiet around here, so I hope to make it up to you with a few of my latest creations.

These baby cards are a part of my new "Simply Delightful" series, in which I hope to create more cards with simple designs. With life getting busier each passing day, it is nice to have go-to designs that are simple, yet elegant, and perfectly suited for life's special occasions.

The best part about these cards, is that I will be adding them to my shoppe for a fraction of the cost of my regular cards, which means that I will be able to bundle them together for even greater savings! Each bundle will feature two of these pretties, and will retail for $5.99.

Each bundle (of this design) will have a boy and a girl baby card.
{Stay tuned for many more themes in my Simply Delightful series}

Each of these cards was created out of a plain white card base, stamped with the beautiful Papertrey Ink Wonderful Words: Mini Baby stamps.

To create the flowers, I stamped several flower outline images onto various soft patterns I had scattered about my crafty table.
{The wooden flower stamps were a gift from a very sweet friend who found these Stampin Up treasures at a garage sale. How sweet of her to think of me and how perfect for such a set to find it's way into my collection. I think they have become a new favorite! Thank you, Paulette!!}

The most time consuming part of these cards, was the fussy cutting. I used my scissors to hand cut each little flower layer, and once I had a pile I was happy with, I started to assemble the flowers, using all of the different patterns and shapes.

After all the stamped bits on the base of the card, I added a flower to each one to finish it off.

I have added all of these to the shoppe, along with a RESTOCK of some old favorites, like the Mini Felt Roses in four beautiful pastel shades, and some new Mini Felties...

Also, I have started crafting up some pretty new layered fabric blooms.
They will debut in the shoppe in the next couple of days, but here is a sneak of what you can expect.

As always, you can find all of these products, and more in my shoppe, where the products are constantly changing. To check out what is available right now, please click here.

As always, thank you so much for visiting and for all of your love. I wish you a happy day,

*Ivana*
