~Make a Wish~
Mornin'! I've got a quick post for today.
Do you love stationary as much as I do? Paper with letterheads, decorative envelopes, recipe cards, and greeting cards...I love them all. And I guess you could say that is where my love of papercrafting began...
Every now and again, I like to try my hand at stationary or card sets to gift away, add to the Etsy Shoppe or just keep on hand for birthdays and special occasions.
Here is a set that I made recently, and it reminds me of a stationary set I once had, similar to these recipe cards by Rifle Paper Co.
To make the cards, I started with paper from Kaisercraft - Tea Break for the background, followed by Rustic White cardstock from PTI. To stamp the main sentiments, and polka dots for all the cards, I used Stampin' Up stamps, and for the side sentiment, I used PTI's Mini Blooms stamp set.
At the top of this card, I added some paper strips, a felt rose, lace and rhinestones.
For the little flower clusters, I used WPlus9's Fresh Cut Florals stamp set and dies. The stars are from Stampin' Up. and the pretty blush ribbon is from Webster's Pages. Have you seen all of their candy-colored goodies lately? I so wish I could get my hands on them!
Most cards also got a healthy dose of sequins...On this one, they are just randomly sprinkled about, which is what I love the most about them. They look great almost anywhere :)
Lastly, a bit of button and string, and this card set is ready for the Shoppe!
I hope you are having a lovely Spring day!
Thank you for visiting,
*Ivana*
p.s. Sue - I hope the weather is nicer today!
Adorable set Ivana, so many pretty little details! I have always been drawn to paper items too. I enjoy snail mail far more than an email or text!
