Good morning and welcome back!
Today's post is a part of a new feature called Two Takes, where I'll be sharing a layered card, and then delayering it, to show two different takes on the same design! Wanna come take a peek?
Today's card features a removable tag, which is held onto the card by the large button at the top.

TIP
To add a removable tag to your card, adhere a larger button to the top of your card with hot glue, adding just enough glue to the middle of the button so that there is a little bit of a clearance between your card base and button. Be sure to only press the button gently in place, so as not to spread the hot glue. Leaving the extra space all around, and a little sliding room, will make it easy to tuck in a sweet tag!

I created this little tag with PTI's Folded Foodie tag, stamped in Classic Kraft, Sweet Blush and Pale Peony. I used Cover Plate: Hearts, for the tiny heart, and added a blue bow at the top. I love making cooridnated projects, and by making the tag removable, I can decide if I want to use them together, or if they're better as separates! I can also leave the whole project as is, to make for an extra special, layered card.
For my card, I used PTI's Sweet Holiday Wishes stamps and dies, to stamp the cookies, candycanes and all the lovely confetti. I added in a bit of kraft cardstock for some variation and did a little bit of heat-embossing in white.
I added a ring of glitter to my button, and used some twine to match all the kraft accents.
I also added a sprinkling of gems and Nuvo drops all around, as well as a touch of coloring with my Copic markers (for the sprinkles).
This was a heap of fun to make! I hope you liked this little project and new series.
