Joy + Cheer - Pinkfresh Studio

Hello Friends, I'm up on the Pinkfresh Studio blog today, with a non-traditional Holiday duo!

I've really been crushing on the pretty new dies, especially the Teardrop Tag. It's such a lovely design, perfect for accenting with stamped details, like I've done for today's cards.
I also thought it would be fun to add in a little purple into an otherwise Holiday palette of green and aqua. I'm rather liking the twist, and if you've long moved past Holiday cards, these would be just as fun for any occasion, with a simple sentiment switch up!

To make my tags, I used the Season's Greetings wreath and embossed it in gold. I colored it up with Copic hues, and then cut out the detailed accents, which also got a swipe of Copic color.

To make my card, I layered the Radiating Background 2 design onto my base, along with my tag, and tucked in yet another tag, using the Fillable Tag with Pocket dies. I used the Classic Holiday Words dies and Merry Days stamp for the sentiment.

For my second card, I used some of the same supplies, with a little switch-up.

I created the top of the card with the Geo Star 2 background, and scalloped it with the Classic Edgers dies.

I also added a frame, cut with the Ornate Banner dies - one of my other favorites from the newest release!

It's always fun to mix and match new and old releases - it kind of gives a new take to the supplies, doesn't it? And even more fun when paired with non-traditional colors!
