Today we are unveiling a new challenge over on the Pinkfresh blog, and it's all about the Holidays!
I've used two different types of wreaths today to make my cards.
I know it can be hard to keep up with all the latest products sometimes, so I am sharing different ways to incorporate this seasonal touch into your cards - one with a very Holiday-ish stamp and one using a stamp set you might recognize from a while back...Which I've given a merry twist!

I've used the beautiful Eucalyptus Fantasy set here, which you might recall from this post.
Even though this set was released in the midst of Summer, I could hardly wait to give it a holiday spin. I've used several green hues of Pinkfresh inkpads to color up the leaves with my waterbrush.

TIP
If you've never used inkpads to watercolor -it's super easy! Just dab your ink pad onto a non-porous surface, such as a non-stick mat, your clear stamp block, or some wax paper to get a bit of the color out. Then dip in your waterbrush, and color away!

I mounted the wreath onto some cardstock, adding the gorgeous Snow Globe Elements on top.
At the bottom, I stamped a sentiment from the Merry Days set.
For my next card, I used a very festive wreath from the Season's Greetings stamp set.
I colored it up in the same way - with my waterbush and a dip in some of my favorite Pinkfresh inks.
I also made my own wreath to mat underneath, using the evergreen sprigs from the Sparkle with Magic set.
It's easy to tell I did this freehand, as things are slightly off lol

I love that both of these cards look festive and that no one would ever know a Summer-y stamp set was used for one of them.
As always, if you decide to play along, you could win a fabulous prize! The theme this month is "All Things Holidays" and the color line-up is pretty cheery and festive.
