Colorful Christmas - The Stamp Market

A happy colorful Christmas is in store today, Friends! You can also find this little card up on The Stamp Market blog ;)

For my little creation, I've made a card which will likely get added to our Christmas baking deliveries, and seeing as each year, the list of recipients grows, so does my need to work ahead and come up with designs I can easily reproduce. This one is a piece of cake - and if I play my cards right - I might even be able to get hubby to do a bit of the die-cutting to help along. Perhaps if I feed him cookies? :)

For this easy design, I decided to do a modern take on the Christmas tree. White on white layers, a dotted (snow-like background), and a bit of font fun! At the top, I used this gorgeous floral, heat-embossed onto vellum and colored up with Wonder Stix

For the background, I cut the Gradient Dot pattern, adding some sparkly confetti

Atop that, I layered my 'Christmas tree' which I hand cut, and adorned with pretty products from The Stamp Market - like the Something Extra Alphas, and Sending Bunches of Love.

A button and some string to finish things off, and this cutie is ready for delivery!

  3. Ok, you have me intrigued by these Wonder Stix! I was literally just thinking this morning about how to colour on vellum and you've answered the question for me with the most beautiful example. The recipients of your holiday baked goodies are in for some stunning (and delicious) treats this year!
