Sparkle with Magic - The Stamp Market + Pinkfresh

Well we all knew I wouldn't last! It was only a matter of time before soft, shabby layers would show up! Today, a bit of pastel sparkle coming your way, with a touch of watercoloring. I just love making pastel Christmas cards :)

Funny enough, this little number started out as nothing more than a watercolor base. Moreover, one that was just meant as a clean-up of veeerryyy colorful stamp block. What a happy surprise that it turned out so lovely. I simply couldn't let it go to waste.

I then mimicked the watercolor pattern by smooshing more paper into some green ink for the leaves, and used a soft wash of pinks for the stunning floral. At the tippity top of the card, I added some more little blooms, as well as lots of hand-glued confetti bits.

For the sentiment, I used an oldie, but a favorite from Pinkfresh - the Sparkle with Magic set - which just so happens to be on clearance over on SB.com ;)

I added a few more glittery bits all around, a little bit of detailing to the florals and leaves with my fineliners, and this cutie is ready for delivery!
