Christmas Citrus Wreath - Inspired By Series | The Stamp Market

Have you SEEN the gorgeous Sweet Orange Holiday set that was released a while back by Ink to Paper? It's one that's very close to heart, because our home almost always smells like spiced citrus around the Holidays. We like to make our own mulling spice, which is just a touch heavy-handed on the orange zest...It has the most glorious scent and a familiar, cozy aroma...Soul-warming on a cold winter night! So you can imagine, I was thrilled to put one of my favorite TSM sets to good use to make a Christmas-y design inspired by this wonderful prompt.

To make my card, I started with the Gingham Oval set, stamped up in Blush ink, and heap of cuts using the Citrus Vine stamp set and dies. I adorned each little leaf and orange with some sparkly splatters and a little bit of chunky glitter, which I've linked below.

I also tucked in berries from the Wildflower set, which I left white, while embossing the stems in gold.

A bit of additional sparkly splatter for a finishing touch, all fashioned into a festive wreath. I do love how this turned out!

I finished it off with a sentiment stamped on kraft and acetate cardstock, with a touch of heat-embossing.

Such a fun inspiration to play with! Tell me, Friends, what inspires you during the holidays?

  1. Magnificently lovely design. I adore that this festive make taps into the once prevalent (and still done by some people) tradition of giving citrus (and other types of) fruit at Christmas. To this day, my mom still puts a mandarin orange in the toe of our Christmas stockings each year.
