Spring Tags

~Tag It With Something Special~

I sit here this morning, admiring the little bits of sun here and there, before some snow flurries come our way later today. By this time of year, all I want is for the snow to be gone and for little green buds to start sprouting, and little birdies to start chirping, but it seems that my eagerness for spring is only helping to push it off longer...So I shall be patient and share some sweet spring tags with you instead!

As much as I adore gifting handmade cards, on the odd occasion, I prefer to add a tag to a gift to finish it off. Not only does it serve as a great way to express a greeting, but I love the way it dresses up any plain, 'ole gift bag or box. It's just the perfect touch when a bow or a typical gift wrap won't suffice.

The other thing I love to do, is make gift tags out of unconventional items....Like these precious felt stuffed hearts! I made these a while back, out of plain white felt, and I have had plenty of fun dressing them up.

For this particular heart, I added a few items from my shoppe, like the yellow felt rose, and painted clothes pins (decorated with more rolled roses) and a soft yellow stick pin (which are momentarily all sold out, but if you're hoping to get your hands on some, just let me know, and I'll create a special listing for you).

I also added a couple of little buttons, and stamped leaves for a little bit of texture.

For the next tag, I combined a die-cut doily, with layers of flowers and leaves stamped onto white chipboard, using this PTI stamp set. I really love the yellow washi tape that I've had for such a long time, but never put it to use, and it seemed like the perfect little touch to add a splash of brightness.

I added a few of my beloved dots to finish the tag off.

For this next tag, I used the same flowers and leaves, but made the base out of a die and stamp combo from PTI, to create a little button card.

I stamped a little sentiment on the bottom, and added more pearls.

Both of these tags are now in my shoppe, so if you've been waiting to use the 15% discount code which can be found inside the current issue of PaperHaus, this is the perfect time!

Also added just today, is this little gifting kit, with two hand-made glassine bags, decorated with hand-made washi-tape,

two painted and decorated clothes pins,

two hand stamped and embellished button/gift cards and a little felt banner, perfect for adding to a gift or envelope!

I have a few special little projects brewing at the moment, so I will be back very soon with more creations!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
